About your tour
With an early start to seize the day at around 5:00 am it takes around 3 and a half hours to arrive to the Chaco’s port in Pisco town, then we take a boat to visit our famous Ballestas Islands the whole tour takes around 2 and a half hours. You will see a lot of lovely families of sea lions, amazing birdlife and tiny penguins, (yes penguins in a hot weather!) the atmosphere is great with a big variety of rocky formations and big variety of birds which will involve you in the meantime you are visiting the islands by boat! JUST GREAT!
After your tour we will take you to visit the impressive dune buggy and sandboarding tour”. This tour is both thrilling and beautiful, transporting you at high speeds deep into the desert to see the huge sand dunes on the coast. These mountains of sand are beautiful and surreal. And adventurous travelers are welcome to try sandboarding down the dunes!
Then we will have a time for a local lunch (lunch is not included but we will help you to organize it).
Finally we will go back to Lima, expect to arrive at 8:00pm approx, depending on traffic conditions.
