Imagine a sunset where the setting sun meets the salt land on the horizon. At night, the stars merge with the desert as one, simulating a lunar landscape. The Milky Way, with its thousands of stars painted in the sky, embraces us like a loving mother to her children.
The activity starts at 1pm in Córdoba Capital. We set off for Lucio V. Mansilla, located 205 km away. After three hours of travel, we are welcomed by Yeni with some exquisite "pastelitos". She tells us about her family history and the saltpeter industry worked in a traditional way.
At 5pm we start the 13km walk through the salt desert in search of the sunset. We have time to admire the views, take photos or meditate. At dusk, we start our return hike with flashlights. Upon arrival, we relax while we taste some "empanadas" or other regional delicacies.
Placed in a circle, Silvana tells cosmic tales to understand the intimate connection between humans and universe. We contemplate through telescopes, being able to see planets, stars, clusters, satellites, depending on the atmospheric and climatic conditions during the day.
In closing, we offered reflections about our fleeting passage through the planet and the millions of cosmic factors that synchronized to make life on Earth possible.
Around 11pm, we started our return to the city of Córdoba, arriving at the former Plaza Velez Sarsfield at 2am.

This natural wonder was generated over thousands of years, by a tectonic fault that allowed the filtration of water from an ancient seabed, leaving exposed hectares of minerals, among which predominates the sodium chloride.
